Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Benjamin L. Cardin (D-MD), recently appointed to the Senate Finance Committee for the 112 ^th Congress, has been named to key subcommittees that will utilize his experience in healthcare and retirement security issues while helping to boost our economy and create jobs for Marylanders during these challenging economic times. Senator Cardin has been named to the Subcommittee on Health Care, Subcommittee on Taxation and IRS Oversight, and the Subcommittee on Social Security, Pensions, and Family Policy.
