The Local Homelessness Coalition will host community members and agency leaders to a roundtable discussion on housing issues and solutions in rural Maryland on February 12, 2024, starting at 10 a.m. in Room B103 & B104 in the B1 Building at the College of Southern Maryland (CSM) campus in La Plata, Maryland.

“Affordability, lack of adequate shelter, limited funding, and collaboration are but a few of the barriers and solutions key to addressing housing stability in our region,” said Sandy Washington, Chair of the Local Homelessness Coalition and CEO of LifeStyles of Maryland.

Roundtable discussion panelists will include Senator Ben Cardin, local health officers, Department of Human Services directors, housing authorities, realtors and members of the local homelessness coalition.
