— U.S. Senator Benjamin L. Cardin today held a grand opening of his Western Maryland Senate Field Office in Cumberland. The Senator was joined by elected officials and community leaders in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception.

Robin Summerfield will head the Western Maryland Field Office, and will represent Senator Cardin in Garrett, Allegany, Washington, and Frederick counties.

“I am committed to having a strong presence in Western Maryland, and I am particularly pleased that Robin has the experience and knowledge to deal with the important issues that are of concern to residents of Western Maryland,” said Senator Cardin.
